SBI General Insurance is a joint venture between the State Bank of India and Insurance Australia Group (IAG). SBI owns 70% of the total capital, IAG owns 26% and the remaining 4% is owned by PI Opportunities Fund (2.35%) and Axis New Opportunities AIF-I (1.65%)

SBI General follows a robust multi-channel distribution model encompassing Agency, Auto Manufacturing, Bancassurance, Broking, Digital, Corporate and Retail Direct Channel.
